TYPE! sponsors Diary of a Debut Novelist festival

Learn the dos and don’ts of getting published

The Diary of a Debut Novelist festival returns in January — and TYPE! is sponsoring it.

Featuring insights from those that have been there and done it, the prestigious online event will inspire and teach you as you continue your writing journey.

Expect weekly online sessions with authors sharing expertise about gaining an agent, editing, and getting a book onto shop shelves.

Each session will run online from 7pm on Wednesdays throughout January, beginning on January 10th.

Topics and line-ups will be revealed soon, but previous events have featured authors including Chloe Timms, Eve Ainsworth, Jon Barton, Jacqueline Sutherland and Natalie Chandler.

Event organiser Emma Christie, author of The Silent Daughter, Find Her First and the forthcoming thriller In Her Shadow, said: “We’ve an action-packed line-up and top, top authors ready to share their wisdom about the first-time publishing process.

“This is a great festival for anyone serious about making their mark with their writing in 2024.”

TYPE!’s sponsorship will include regular event promotion and perhaps some online challenges as part of our ongoing commitment to help you to write more, write better, write now!
