    George is a writer, journalist and communications consultant. He launched TYPE! magazine in 2021 to showcase great new writing. George works with individual writers and businesses on a range of writing projects.

  • Sarah Hamilton

    Sarah is a journalist, award-winning playwright and the co-founder of TYPE! Her work has been performed at the Royal Court, Etcetera, Pleasance, Old Red Lion and Finborough theatres. Sarah has a masters in Dramatic Writing, and runs the writing blog Writerly.

  • Connie Worthington

  • Laura Burton

    Laura is a freelance writer and published poet. She has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and runs the blog The Feminist Resource. Laura’s poem Endings featured in TYPE! #7. Laura is now helping TYPE! to grow its community and develop more writing tools.

  • Tim Goldstone

    Tim’s work has been published in numerous journals and anthologies. His prose sequence was read on stage at The Hay Festival and his poetry presented on Digging for Wales. Tim also has scriptwriting credits for TV and radio. He tweets from @muddygold

  • Erin Jamieson

    Erin Jamieson holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Miami University. Her writing has been published in over eighty literary magazines, including two Pushcart Prize nominations. Her latest poetry chapbook, Fairytales, was published by Bottlecap Press. Her debut novel (Sky of Ashes, Land of Dreams) comes out November 2023.

    Treasa Nealon is a writer, theatre maker and playwright based in Ireland. Her plays have been produced in Ireland and the UK. She has been published in Free the Verse and Thimble Literary Magazine.

    Ribh Ireland is a writer, teacher, and proud country bumpkin. Her recent work has featured at The Lowry and The Pleasance theatres, as well as in Chewin' the Fat magazine.

    Laura Foulger is a Features Writer based in Croydon. She recently earned her Creative Writing MA from Royal Holloway. She's a fan of uncanny, unsettling fiction.

    Sophie Pell is a screen and stage writer. Recent projects include A Country Christmas and The Fit and The Fearful, a period short film. She is also a contributing writer to the Crumbling Creatives Club, a comedy sketch group based in London.

    Gloria Gozi is a librarian and writer from London. She has written for various magazines including Glasgow-based Mycelia.

  • John Dearing

    John is a beer aficionado and devoted churchman recognised by CAMRA as an outstanding local pubs historian. A compulsive writer of verse, his work also documents old pubs and churches in Reading.

  • Abbie Franklin

    Abbie Franklin is a University of Glasgow graduate who likes to hop between creative and critical writing. More often than not she can be found in a library, and was recently told at work that it was unusual for someone her age to read books and drink water.

    Isaac Verrall is a writer based in Harlow, Essex. His one-man show, ‘Bi Bi Baileigh’, has been performed at Harlow Playhouse and The King’s Head Theatre.

    Ruben Carbajal writes for stage, screen, and beyond. His play, Some Assembly Required, recently appeared in 10(ISH), an anthology published by Stage Partners.

    Charles Eades is a writer and film maker based in Scotland. He has had one novel and three plays published, with his audio play The Midnight Caller produced by the NoSleep podcast. He is a patron of the charity Staffie Support.

    Pallavi Kumar is an award-winning copywriter and screenwriter. She recently completed her MA in Screenwriting from the London Film School. She loves to write comedies and family dramas and has co-written many ad campaigns and short films.

    Elinor is an actor and writer from Bexhill-on-Sea, UK. She loves bringing a sting of reality to fairytale endings and lacing the darkest of topics with a sickly-sweet streak.

    Simina studies how poetry elicits emotions through auditory imagery. She also enjoys creating visual rhymes with found photographs.

  • Eve Lytollis

    Eve Lytollis is a northern writer based in London. Her comedic play Paperboy was performed at various London venues in 2021. Now she's balancing a day job in TV with writing strange, silly little stories.

  • Tracy Davidson

    Tracy Davidson lives in Warwickshire, and writes poetry and flash fiction. Her work has appeared in various publications and anthologies, including: Mslexia, Modern Haiku, Femku, The Great Gatsby Anthology, and In Protest: 150 Poems for Human Rights.

  • Zilin Wu

    Zilin Wu is a writer, editor, and director based in London. She is studying for her MA in Screenwriting at the London Film School. She has written several short films and a mini-TV series, and is working on her first feature film and a sci-fi TV series.

    Cher is a writer based in Germany and New Zealand. She was shortlisted for New Zealand’s Folly Journal Short Story Competition and has TV and film credits. In her stories, she explores human relations under bizarre or tragic circumstances.

    David Simpatico is a playwright, librettist and performance artist, creating new works in live theatre, musical theatre, and opera. He lives in the Hudson Valley with his husband, Robert. David’s picture by China Jorrin.
